GENERAL INFORMATION AND USER MANUAL OF THE UNDERWATER GUN

USE THE SPEARGUN CORRECTLY BY FOLLOWING THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS MANUAL.
NEVER USE THE SPEARGUN TO HURT YOURSELF OR OTHERS.
WARNING!: NEVER use the speargun out of water. NEVER aim at other people. Unlock the safety ONLY a few seconds before shooting and ONLY when the user is in a balanced position. Our speargun was built using water-resistant materials but it is still necessary to rinse it using fresh water after each use.
• It is mandatory to load, unload and use the speargun exclusively in water and away from any swimmers.
• The minimum age for using an speargun is 16 years.
• IMPORTANT: This rifle can cause permanent injury if used improperly and must be treated accordingly;
• Please read all the instructions in this booklet carefully before using the rifle and keep the manual for further consultation;
• The speargun was designed exclusively for underwater use and should only be used in water, and exclusively for underwater fishing or underwater shooting competitions;
• To preserve your own safety and that of others, as well as to avoid damaging the rifle, scrupulously follow the instructions in this manual;
• In order to preserve your own and others’ safety and to avoid damaging the speargun, never load or unload an underwater speargun out of the water;
• Never keep the loaded speargun on land or in a boat but use it exclusively in water for spear fishing or underwater target shooting;
•Never load the gun near swimmers or crowded places, beaches or cliffs;
• Always carry out the loading maneuver of the speargun with the safety engaged;
• Make sure to insert the safety before inserting the rod into the appropriate cavity; The use of protective gloves and sternum reinforcements is recommended to reload the speargun;
• In order to preserve your safety and that of others, never remove or tamper with the safety of the spear gun;
• Once cocked, grip the rifle firmly by the handle and not by the frame or, worse, by the shaft/harpoon;
• Do not place your finger on the trigger until you intend to shoot;
• Never shoot out of the water with an underwater gun and never shoot from the air towards the water;
• The shot must be carried out by the diver completely immersed in water, with a view that allows him to practice the activity in complete safety and to verify that there is no one else within the range of action of the speargun;
• Never shoot in the direction of other people or in the direction of stationary objects;
• Never point the speargun in the direction of people even if the safety is on or the gun is unloaded;
• Always turn the tip of the harpoon away from people;
• Once the underwater fishing activity is finished it is absolutely essential to unload the speargun in the water;
• It is advisable to always signal your presence in the water using signaling buoys recognized both internationally and locally;
• The speargun must never be transported loaded and during transport the rifle must be contained inside a sturdy bag whose material is puncture-proof and must NOT be cocked;
• Always respect the legislation in force and inform yourself in advance about the regulations in force in the country regarding the use and possession of spearguns, especially by minors.
• Please check the perfect integrity of the product before using it;
• Before using a rubber band speargun, always check the correct functioning of the release system and the safety, following the information contained in this booklet.
•Always check that the line is well fixed to the end of the speargun and to the shaft;
• The use of protective gloves and sternum reinforcements is recommended to reload rubber band rifles;
• Before using a rubber band spearung, always engage the safety according to the instructions in this manual;
• In order to preserve yours and others’ safety, never remove or tamper with the safety of the speargun;
• Protect the shaft with a protective tip when the speargun is not used;
• Rinse the speargun thoroughly in fresh water after each dive;
• To guarantee the best performance of the speargun, use only ROISUB components and accessories:
• Any maintenance or repair work on the speargun must be carried out by technical personnel from authorized ROISUB centres.
